Chapter 1: In The Beginning.
The River Styx |
Dark Side of The Moon |
God's rib and the devil's fire exploded into a rocket that landed on the dark side of the moon. And out of that rocket was born a Voodoo Child -- a person who's mission it was to restore balance to Planet Earth. That person is Jude Blues, Jr.
And so it was, Jude Blues, Jr. was born on the dark side of the moon.

Jude landed at a place called Toronto, in a land called Canada. Once he got his bearings, he decided to re-name the place. His city is now known as NewRockCity (NRC), a place governed by the tenets and principles inherent in that dogma now known as Rock-and-Roll. A place where there
is no such thing as money and war and fear and crime and corruption and darkness.
New Rock City |
For the next four years NewRockCity was a Utopian society. Those who did not agree with the tenets and principles inherent in that dogma known as Rock-and-Roll moved away -- to the west coast -- and started their own city, which they originally named 'Rockopolis.' However, in 'Rockopolis,' everything stayed the same, and while NewRockCity enjoyed four years of peace, beauty, prosperity and serenity; 'Rockopolis' declined into a cesspool of greed, crime, corruption, pain, and -- worst of all -- bad music. In fact, the current governing regime of Rockopolis recently declared a new name for their city, which is now known as Hippityhopolis.
Hippityhopolis |
From time to time, the denizens of Hippityhopolis infiltrate NewRockCity with the intention of turning it over to the dark side, like their own Hippityhopolis. And when this happens -- and it's been happening a lot lately -- Jude Blues, Jr. and his team do their best to keep the peace and fight the darkness wherever it may roam.
The year is 2014. The day is October 31st, once known as 'Halloween,' but now known as 'Blue Monday,' an annual holiday to mark the anniversary of Jude's arrival to Planet Earth and the birth of NewRockCity. Every year on this day, the city takes a day 'off' to celebrate, relax, and play or listen to their favorite rock-and-roll music. In the evening, Jude Blues, Jr. gives his annual 'State of the Rock' address. This is where we begin:
Jude: "The planet is polarized. All of us who believe in Truth, Love and Clarity now live here in NewRockCity. Those who continue to live in willfull ignorance, denial and darkness now live in Hippityhopolis. Only one road connects our two cities -- the Highway to Hell. We, the people of NewRockCity maintain our half of the Highway to Hell in order to send humanitarian assistance to struggling Hippityhopolers -- their struggles are due to poverty, sickness and other unfortunate circumstances beyond their control. And we have compassion for those people as we do for ourselves. Hippityhopolis maintains its half of the Highway to Hell solely in order to send forces of darkness into NRC from time to time. And so it is..."
Highway to Hell |
Because of his teen-aged body, Jude Blues is forced to work in a space that would intimidate any human being -- otherwise known as High School. And so there is where Jude spends many days and nights, and the school is called the Upper Eric Clapton Academy (also known as Upper Clapton Academy for short).
Jude's crew consists of himself, Spacey Tracey, Led Brett and Lil' Walter. Together, these four modern-day folk-heroes protect NewRockCity from the darkness that wishes to extinguish the light at the heart of the city, otherwise known as TRUTH.
Spacey Tracey |
And so it was.
Led Bret lives with his mum in a trailer park out near the Power Tower. Bret's father died during the seven-day siege two years ago when an armed gang of Hippityhopolers tried to take over the Power Tower that keeps NewRockCity going. Led Bret now keeps a watchful eye on the Power Tower, never sleeping so he can ensure that the Power Tower is safe from anymore intruders. The 'Power' is the rock-and-roll music that plays 24-hours-a-day/7-days-a-week on hidden speakers all throughout NewRockCity. If the music stops, then it would be the end of days. Led Bret's superpower is his skateboard -- when he and only he rides the board, he can travel at the speed of light.
Lil Walter lives alone with his bulldog Stella in an old missile silo on Country Road #9#9. Nobody knows where his parents are. Lil Walter can't talk. But what he can do is DRIVE. Lil Walter's superpower is his car -- the 'Night Prowler' -- the car is stealth, invisible at night. The Night Prowler allows the crew to travel behind enemy lines if need be undetected. By day, the car sits in a garage next to the missile silo. Walter spends all his spare time working on the car.
And, of course, Jude Blues, Jr. has a superpower too -- his superpower is simply that he is immortal. He simply will not die. Period. Burdened by an eternal life spent trying to balance the forces of light and darkness borne within him long ago.
Chapter 2: Jude's Crew
Jude Blues, Jr. has a crew. The crew consists of himself and three of his classmates at the Upper Clapton Academy.
Spacey Tracy lives in a red house on Penny Lane. Her parents are rocket scientists. Spacey Tracey rides a rocket-powered motorcycle that has a sidecar for Jude. Her superpower is 'Truth Vision' -- her motorcycle goggles allow her to see if someone is telling the truth or lying.

Chapter 3: The 'METH-HEAD' Dilemma
Jude Blues, Jr. Spacey Tracey, Led Bret and Lil Walter are all hanging out at the Hotel California bar -- the Voodoo Lounge. Spacey Tracey and Led Bret are taking turns throwing knives at each other (a variation on the popular old-school dartboard game found in pubs around the world). Jude and Lil Walter are playing a heated game of Dare Hockey -- a game similar to the old-world game known as Air Hockey, except the puck is made of TNT.
The mayor of Hippityhopolis, 'Vanilla Eyce,' is hoping that the chaos caused by dumping the potent METH-EDM into one of NewRockCity's reservoirs will allow him a window of opportunity to send a much larger and more formidable force of Spybangers into NewRockCity undetected to steal one of the most holy of holy museum artifacts at the Museum of Rock. That artifact is called the 'Fender Stratocaster' -- an ancient electric guitar that is priceless. The Stratocaster was made famous by Eric Clapton, a musician who was so gifted with a guitar-playing ability unmatched by any other mortal human being.
Jude and his crew's school -- The Upper Clapton Academy -- is named after the legendary Eric Clapton. If the Stratocaster were to fall into the wrong hands, then forces of darkness not to be spoken of would descend on NewRockCity. Jude Blues, Jr. simply cannot let this happen.

In the meantime...
A secret, group of elite Hippityhopolers called the Spybangers (a combination of spies and gangbangers) has managed to infiltrate one of the sacred reservoirs that supplies 30% of NewRockCity denizens with water. And they've done the unthinkable -- the Spybangers have dumped 200 kilograms of METH-EDM into the water supply. METH-EDM is a highly addictive chemical substance developed by the infamous Dr. Feelgood, one of Hippityhopolis's most infamous and notorious denizens.
Dr. Feelgood |
Once introduced into the bloodstream of any human being, the body is hijacked by the drug/chemical, so that anytime that particular human being hears an EDM song (electronic dance music), he/she is possessed with an insatiable, uncontrollable urge to fervently dance, regardless of where that person might be at the time. It doesn't matter if, at the time, the person is driving a car, walking across the street, sleeping, cooking, shopping, bathing, etc. -- they just start dancing like crazy -- uncontrollably.
As you can imagine, it causes absolute chaos. And, unfortunately, the musical genre of EDM is rapidly gaining popularity among the young adult population of NewRockCity. The formulaic, robotic music was created by a fringe group of Hippityhopolan club DeeJays, and its hypnotic sound somehow worked it's way over to many of NewRockCity's most influential people's playlists. So, EDM is popular 'music' right now in NewRockCity. And the evil Dr. Feelgood cooked up an especially potent batch of METH-EDM for the NewRockCity reservoir dump.

Meanwhile, at the Voodoo Lounge....
Jude suddenly falls into a trance -- these episodes happen from time to time, allowing Jude to see into the collective mind of the forces of darkness that were borne within him long ago. When he regains consciousness ten minutes later, he tells his crew about Dr. Feelgood's sinister plan.
Jude: "Guys? Guys!"
Lil Walter nudges Led Bret.
Led Bret: "Jude, you fell out again, what's up?"
Jude: "Guys, I've got horrible news. Dr. Feelgood's thugs just poisoned Reservoir #2, and it's too late...Approximately 3-million of NewRockCity's denizens have been infected with METH-EDM.
Spacey Tracey: "Oh shit. I mean, Oh serious shit!"
Led Bret: "Jude, you know what we gotta do."
Jude: "Ya man. We gotta shut down Reservoir #2 immediately. But how are we gonna neutralize those who are already infected?"
Meanwhile....
All over NewRockCity, chaos is inserting itself. Just as Dr. Feelgood expected.
And so it was...
